• Having seen Royal Kram 02/NS/94 dated 20 July 1994 Promulgating Law of Organizing and Functioning of Council of Ministers
• Having seen Royal Kret NS/RKT/0805/354 dated 05 August 2005 on Restructuring Permanent National Committee for National and International Festival to National Committee for National and International Festival Preparation
• Having seen Royal Kram JS/RKM/0397/01 dated 13 March 1997 Promulgating Labour Law
• Having seen Royal Kram NS/RKM/0105/003 dated 17 January 2005 Promulgating Law on Establishment of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training
• Having seen Sub-Decree 283 OrNKr/BK dated 14 November 2014 on Organizing and Functioning of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training
• Having seen Sub-Decree 137 OrNKr.BK dated 01 October 2015 on Public Holiday Calendar 2016 for Civil Servants and Workers

Hereby Decides

Article 1: It is allowed for worker of all enterprises, establishments as prescribed in article 1 of Labour law to have the following 2016 paid public holiday:

   - 01 January                  International New Year Day                                           1 day off

   - 07 January                  Victory over Genocide Day                                            1 day off

   - 22 February                 Meak Bochea Day                                                        1 day off

   - 08 March                     International Women’s Day                                            1 day off

   - 13-14-15-16 April          Khmer New Year Day                                                   4 days off

   - 01 May                        International Labor Day                                                 1 day off

   - 13-14-15 May               King Norodom Sihamoni’s Birth Day                               3 days off

   - 20 May                        Visak Bochea Day                                                        1 day off

   - 24 May                        Royal Plowing Ceremony Day                                       1 day off

   - 01 June                       International Children Day                                              1 day off

   - 18 June                       Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk’s Birth Day            1 day off

   - 24 September              Constitutional day                                                          1 day off

   - 30 September, 1-2 October Pchum Ben Day                                                       3 days off

   - 15 October                  Commemoration Day of Former King Norodom Sihanouk   1 day off

   - 23 October                  Anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord                             1 day off

   - 29 October                  King Norodom Sihakmoni’s Coronation Day                      1 day off

Article 2: Any public holiday, which falls on Sunday, worker shall be subjected to be one day carried forward to the next day.

Article 3: Any regulation contrary to this Prakas shall be null.

Article 4: Director of Cabinet, General Director of General Department of Administration and Finance, General Director of General Department of Labour, General Director of General Department of Technical Education and Vocational Training, General Secretary of General Secretariat, General Secretary of General Committee for Resolving Strike and Demonstrate issue at all relevant directions, Head of Department of Labour Inspector, Head of Department of Labour Dispute, Head of Department of Occupational Health, Head of Department of Child Labour, Head of Department of Information and Labour Market, National Social Security Fund, and Head of Relevance Units shall abide by this Prakas from 1 January 2016 onward.
